How to use the extruder correctly
Proper use of puffed extruder in work is essential to ensure safety and the longevity of puffed extruder
1. When the screw groove is found to be blocked, do not stop the machine immediately. Instead, run it for a while after stopping feeding until there is a burnt smell before stopping the extruder. This can prevent the nozzle and screw shaft sleeve from biting. If the nozzle and screw shaft sleeve bite and cannot be removed, do not forcefully knock and smash them. You can remove them from the body and let them burn in the fire for a while before they can be removed.
2. When the nozzle cannot spray the formed product in the early stage of the work, it is often caused by the high temperature of the nozzle. The reason is that the raw material is too dry, there are foreign objects in the screw groove, or the feeding is interrupted. The cause should be found according to different situations and the fault should be eliminated.
3. After the homework is completed, stop feeding and let the machine idle for 1 minute. After discharging all the materials inside the machine, stop the machine.
4. Before starting the work, carefully clean the dirt and oil stains on the barrel and screw, then air dry and reassemble.
5. When using, first turn on the extruder and run for 1-2 minutes, then slowly add the raw materials to the feeding. When about a handful of raw materials can fill the ring groove of the screw head, stop feeding and perform friction preheating. When the temperature of the standby head rises, the pressure inside the extruder chamber increases, and the nozzle begins to spray, feed again. Due to the fact that the temperature and pressure inside the extruder chamber have not yet reached normal levels, the feeding amount should gradually and slowly increase.
6. The feeding should be continuous and uniform, and the screw should be dry, otherwise it may cause blockage of the screw groove.
